As a Bavarian with a penchant for culinary delights, my recent stay at Holiday Inn Express was a delightful blend of comfort and gastronomic exploration. In the lobby bar, adorned with light-wood furnishings, I found myself enjoying a local beer, surrounded by a relaxed ambiance perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the Christmas Market. As I savored the fluffy croissants and local cold cuts at the continental buffet, I couldn't help but appreciate the simplicity and authenticity of the Bavarian flavors on offer. An array of cheeses and fresh fruits complemented the spread, providing a well-rounded breakfast experience. Despite the lack of nearby restaurants, the hotel's culinary offerings more than made up for it. Although the lack of hot options for breakfast was noted, it did not detract from the overall experience. The room's comfortable furnishings, including a cozy bed and a refreshing shower room, provided a true retreat after indulging in the diverse flavors of the morning buffet. With friendly staff and a convenient location near the train station, Holiday Inn Express proved to be a value-for-money choice for families and food enthusiasts alike.
